Loved the BBQ sauce! The brisket for the sandwich was sliced really thin which was amazing! Easily the best brisket sandwich I've ever had. The first floor is tiny but there is seating upstairs. If you're visiting Springfield, this is a must!

Last year coming thru Missouri we stopped at Bass pro and then conveniently went to this bbq restaurant near by. At that time the brisket was really good. But this year the pork and brisket was less then average at best. Potato salad was good, the baked beans were all right. Very disappointed.

We went to dinner with family and it was an okay place to eat. Nothing fancy. I did enjoy visiting over dinner in the upstairs room that overlooked the Bass Pro Shop

Nothing like I expected. I got smoked turkey and beef brisket. First there was nothing smokey about either. The turkey tasted like something from a grocery store deli and the brisket was basically like sliced roast beef from Arby's. This was probably the worst bbq I've had.

Brisket not recommended if you've had real Texas brisket. Pit ham, beans, and fresh cut fries were very good. Just barely wheel chair accessible. Service was fast and friendly. Busy at 11 on a weekday!

Overall great bbq. The horseradish sauce was tasty. My wife had the burned end. It was delicious. My turkey meat was dry but the brisket was moist. They were on Travel Chanel.

Great food and service from all. The sweet potato fries are the bomb. Brisket absolutely delicious. Could use a little more attention to cleaning the dining area! But the drive through is next best option

This place is awesome! You can easily get good food through drivethru to take home for a great dinner or party or before the game. And if you decide to eat inside or outside on picnic tables that is great too. My favorite is the smoked salmon and sweet potato fries but I have tasted other items and they were good as well. Found right across from Bass Pro it is super easy to find. Definitely will be returning over and over... I accidentally left my purse and they went out of there way to make sure I got it back. Awesome food, service, and people!

I loved everything about it. We had a sampler that had a little bit of everything and added some burnt-ends. More than enough to feed three people. It was all amazing. The pulled pork and burnt-ends were my favorite. Wonderful Smokey Rich flavor, with it without BBQ sauce. My son is super picky and he ate every bit of his pulled pork and beans. Loved the blues posters in the upstairs seating area and the blues music that played, reminded me of Beale Street. Loved it all. Definitely recommend it and will go back. ❤️

If it weren’t for the friendly staff and sides I would have given it 1 star. The meat lacked flavor and was lukewarm at best. The ribs might have been better when they were fresh off the pit but after steaming in saran wrap for who knows how long they missed the mark. As for the brisket I don’t even know where to start, it was cold, too lean , and for some reason unknown to me was sliced so thin it looked like Arby’s roast beef. While eating I was told that the Missouri BBQ is all about the sauce and after trying the meat by itself I understand why.

Had been looking forward to eating at this place. Good ratings and cool looking place. Menu looked promising. ALL WRONG. Brisket was not brisket by my definition. More like Arby's roast beef. Thin and flavorless. Dry. The smoked turkey had no evidence it was smoked. Reminded me of lunch meat at deli counter. Ham no better. No smoke either. My wife got turkey and brisket which is her favorite. We have eaten bbq all over the USA. This was worst. Hot links were good. Horseradish slaw was good. Staff was pretty friendly. But really disappointed. Has the potential to be much better. Should have taken the clue when parking lot was empty and 1 person eating alone inside.

Delicious; had the pit sampler and it was all good and enough to fed four of us. Cheesy corn was awesome!

Really good food! Alittle messy but there's plenty of napkins. Had the Carolina sandwich, very tasty! I would recommend sitting upstairs on a cold day because it's alittle chilly downstairs.

Five stars for quick service and tasty food. I had the burnt ends salad, which was huge, and had a sizeable portion of meat. The horseradish dressing was a nice touch. This location is self service, with a small dining area downstairs and additional seating upstairs. The atmosphere is unpretentious and pretty basic. If you want some good food fast while in Springfield, Buckingham's is an excellent choice. It's conveniently located across the street from Bass Pro.

We do a TON of business with this location, usually very pleasant, and we always order the same thing. Tonight, I was incredibly taken aback by the rudeness of the employee we dealt with. An older lady was working the drive through and not only cut me off 3 times, but completely disregarded it when I told her I wasn’t done ordering. Not to mention the fact that when I asked for sauce, I was given one thing and told “we aren’t allowed to give you anymore” although I get a specific amount every time I come here. We’ve had a great relationship here for many years, and Ed has always been good to us, but I will not be returning after what we dealt with tonight.

Best BBQ I’ve had! So yummy, and the staff was friendly! My kids love the ribs, and they’re picky eaters to put it nicely. Will definitely be back.

Staff is very friendly and super nice, and the restaurant has a good amount of seating, however I didn't find the food very appetizing. I'm not sure if I just had a one time bad experience, but the only good thing about my meal was the sauces they had to offer. The bun on my sandwich was somewhat stale (not hard, just a bit chewy). Meat was wonderfully seasoned, but cold. Mac and cheese was the worst part and tasted like it was boiled in milk, it didn't taste like cheese at all. My friend and I both agreed our meals were not the best as some other reviews stated. His burnt ends had absolutely no fat on them, thus a lack of flavor.I'd be willing to go back and try something else next time, like I said the staff was very inviting and I can't blame them at all.Note - I am from Kansas City and used to the BBQ there. This may be good for this area.

Great bbq. Just happened across this place while passing through and stopping at the Bass Pro Shop HQ or whatever it's called.Nice small town service, good portions, and man does it smell good from across the street.

As a KC native, I knew it was the real deal when I rode pass and could smell the meat cooking! Ya'll this is the best next next thing outside of the 816. The customer service was really nice as well. It was my first time coming in and I was hesitant on getting the burnt ends. The guy behind the counter gave me a sample (which was amazing, so amazing the family behind me all ordered the burnt end special after tasting their samples) and I knew I had to have them. The burnt ends here are top notch. I've also had their ribs which are pretty good as well.

I have always had great food and service here. I've taken friends and family there and they love it. Good job.

CAUTION - Buckingham’s in the area have different owners and different menus, especially if you’re interested in ordering chicken! I highly recommend that you CALL AHEAD to the physical location to confirm they have the type of chicken you’re expecting - ie bone-in vs boneless. It’s not always clear via the website links which you’ll be getting.

This is a great place for solid bbq. The space has a small footprint and uses two stories fit all the customers. Up stairs looks like a well decorated montage of blues and rock history. Youre definately here for the food. There isnt a bad item on the menu. The staff seems always been helpful polite. The view isnt much unless you like Bass Pro, parking lot, and bbq smoker

The smell as you are approaching the restaurant IS AMAZING! I like that they have indoor and outside seating and extra seating upstairs. The menu is posted big where you order. I just wish the menu was a different color to read it a bit better. The staff was great. They were friendly and helpful. The food was prepared quickly and was amazing.

Had a friend who had never been here, meet me for lunch. She loved it. I love the smokey smell as you park and enter. Staff are friendly. The orders are filled quickly, and the portions are generous. Downstairs seating sometimes fills quickly, but there's more seating upstairs. I have utilized their drive thru as well; and never had a problem, always great food.

Here's your BBQ. Incredibly fresh and delicious. Try their pork sandwich special with hand-cut fries. You'll leave full and happy.

Barbecue was great. Quick service, helpful staff. Only drawback is it's small with limited seating. Enjoyed the Burnt Ends. Recommended.

This place was AWESOME. We were at Bass Pro across the street and stopped in on a whim for dinner. WOW. Victoria, Saul and Jaiquan made the best damn bbq weve ever eaten and were the nicest people. Reasonably priced with massive plates. You won't be sorry you stopped in.

Best Barbeque around! Great prices, great employees! Very generous portions. There is an upstairs dinning with a view and seating on picnic tables outside.We come here at least once a week sometimes more.

Food is always great but the last two times we have visited (all within the last 3 weeks) the woman working the drive thru was extremely rude. Prices seemed to have gone up as well... we were charged $2 higher on our last visit and tried to ask but we were shipped at. We've been going weekly for last year but had a mutual decision that we will no longer visit. Not only was she rude on our last visit she coughed non stop and did not cover her mouth. We could see her handle out food through the reflection of the drive thru window with no gloves on.

The food is good. Double check what comes with what you order. We ordered a turkey club. Menu says has cheddar cheese, lettuce and tomato. Also ordered the Carolina Sandwich. Menu says it comes with cole slaw on top. They charged a extra .99 cents for it and didn't mention it when ordered. When we called after we got home to ask about it, all was said its a old menu. I highly doubt we will return.

I like the loaded tater and husband likes combo platter. The girl who runs the drive through makes the place. She is sweet and kind and has great customer service. Prices are fair. Never disappointed!

Amazingly incredible BBQ, pulled pork did not disappoint maybe it was the incredible coleslaw on top or the sauce. Fries were also fantastic. Portions are for the hungry for sure!

Beef brisket sandwich along with baked beans was really good. Some of the best BBQ I've ever had. Hometown smokehouse bbq. You know its good when their smoking right on site.

Top 3 in Missouri. Maybe the best, I'm working through the menu as I go, haven't even had anything mediocre yet!! Awesome people too!! Don't miss this place if you're going to Bass pro shop- right across the street.

Oversized portions will not leave you hungry. Prime brisket sandwich was awesome. Their fries are the best around.

Second best BBQ in town. Baked beans first rate.
